Plank a day challenge

I joined a plank a day challenge on twitter and thought it was a cool idea so I'll start a challenge here. It's simple do at least one plank a day for at least 30 seconds. You can to two a day for the next four days to catch up. Anyone want to join me?For fun, I'm also adding 15 seconds per day, at least for now.Today's planks1:45 - front plank1:00 on each side

Just did 4 so I'm still behind. Will try to catchup in the next day or two. Would be nice to get them in tomorrow before my body realizes how sore it is from today's planks. Planks are THE thing that kill my abs.

I started at one minute and am adding 15 seconds a day. I'm up to 2:15 and it's tough for me.

Up early and got in 3 more so I'm caught up for the year. I'll start adding time to mine too but I don't think I'll ever make it to 2+ min.I was up to 3 1-min crunches before the new year but I would only do 2 or 3 times a week.

I'm in an informal crunch challenge too where Jan is 30 crunches a day, Feb is 60 crunches a day, and March is 90 crunches a day. When this plank challenge came up, I definitely want to try all of January and then see where it goes. If I could get some nice abs, who knows...but I think I'll meet Santa, the prez, and the Easter Bunny before my abs stand out.

I didn't join the challenge until the 5th so I made up those days. So I'm 12 for 12 days. Actually, just to geek it out, I've got in 16 planks for a total time of 11:15. My pattern thus far has been try to add 15 sec on one day and then the next day do 2 planks at that longer time. Then the next day, I try to add 15 sec and I only do one. I'm not up to those 2+ min like Mike but I'm up to 75 seconds.

Is this the same one that is on Facebook? It is a plank/crunch challenge with adding 10 seconds a day to the plank and 5 crunches a day. Today is a 3:40 plank with 85 crunches. Shoot me now...

This one is different, I don't do Facebook. Wow! A 3:40 plank is a long time. I built up to three minutes but have gone back down to one minute for a while. I really need to start doing multiple sets to get stronger to build back up. My goal is a 10 minute plank but I'm a long way off that.

This one is different, I don't do Facebook. Wow! A 3:40 plank is a long time. I built up to three minutes but have gone back down to one minute for a while. I really need to start doing multiple sets to get stronger to build back up. My goal is a 10 minute plank but I'm a long way off that.
Hopefully the not doing FB didn't come out wrong. I hav enothing against it, it's just with blogging, twitter, instagram, BT, etc, I don't have time for yet another social media :-)
