Bought my first tri bike

Bought my first tri bike. A 2000 Trek Hilo 2000. I know it's older but I read great reviews even up to 2013 and I got it for $300. Feedback? -

Feedback?I got my first TriBike for $300. It took me from 14-1/2 MPH on a Mountain Bike to 20 MPH (after about 10 weeks of training on the TriBike). It was well worth the investment. I upgraded the original TriBike after a while to get a better fit but I still am as fast on the $300 bike as I am on the one that cost many times more. :-)

Some of the ideas that I have tried are very non-conventional but I figure if no
one ever tried them nothing new will ever be discovered. -

For $300 if it is well maintained, it's going to be a fun bike to use!

Nice! A 2000 Rek Hilo 2000 was a good purchase! Actually, a good friend here really love same kind of bike. He bought one to get into triathalon. As a far as I know, the bike rides nicely.
