Blue Demons

Alright, I don't know why this bothers me so. This dude I know took a biz trip and he had a hot number that he had plans to hook up with when he got to where he was going. He's a young guy in his twenties and he popped a blue demon to "rock her world" as he said. I asked him if he thought the chick knew he popped one and he said she didn't have a clue.

Seems to me the dude has self-esteem issues to need to do that. He told me as if to impress but I could help but pity the guy.

OK I'm a little confused.  Why would popping a pill to enable him to "rock her world" be impressive?  Seems to me that being able to do that WITHOUT the pill would be the impressive part....
