Just wanted to share how much I am looking forward to my favourite tri of the year and my last in the season.

Who is doing Banff this year?

Passing this year (still on vacation after Whistler), next year is tight with ITU worlds so I might do both races.

I'm racing the sprint.   It was my first ever tri (last year) and I'm looking forward to an improved performance.  (knock on wood!)

did the sprint in 2011, oly in 2010... the weather in 2010 sucked... looking good this year (touch wood)

get in the water early and get your face wet (wear a neoprene cap too)... its ice cream headache cold so give your body time to adjust.

I did it last year and it was gorgeous weather. I also used ear plugs and they really help protect from that cold water. Neoprene cap was great as well.

That was the wetest I have ever been. Still have fun and PRed my bike
