I swam the dam...anyone?

Looking for anyone who has done this race in Magrath. I'm just thinking of doing the Olympic distance and am wondering if I should have a wetsuit for the race? Any feedback on the race/course would be lovely. Thanks in advance

Done it twice. OK low key race. I would wear a wetsuit this year given the cold winter. The start of the bike is not the safest course but no accidents in all the years its been on.
