Wow, I have not looked on the forums in months - and here is the one race I AM doing this year (lol which is not even a triathlon!).
I did the marathon last year (my first) and certainly hope I can do it again this year. It is a very well organized race, beautiful scenary and gravel roads. Lots of hills - would definitely recommend the drive out there to do a practice run if you mostly train on flat terrain. (there are a few pictures in my album that show the hills). I saw another bt'er with it on his list too.
There is a 1/2 mary and a 10km also I believe that same day, but it is still a nice small race (about 50 marathoners last year).
You considering it Scott? I would highly recommend it!

I am thinking about the 1/2...although I must admit, I think that I am mentally ready to tackle a full! If it is really hilly I may just stick to the 1/2. I just don't know!
I think a short trip out there is in order.
