Loading pictures?

I have been trying to load pictures to the photo album and message section but for some reason I cannot. Some error like the image is to large. Anyone help me with how I can get things into the photo album? TIA.

If you have digital photos on your computer, you must be using some sort of software to view/manipulate them? What you need to do is to run that program, take each photo that you want to upload, and re-size it. That will shrink it down to the size that is acceptable for the album here. Sorry I can't remember what that size is, but experiment around until your photo is no bigger than that (right click on the file name, check properties and it will give you the size, i.e. 250 kb for example). After a photo is re-sized, save it as a different file name so it won't over-write the original. Then just use those smaller files as the ones to upload to the album.

P.S. I just checked and I see that the maximum size is 100 kb per photo. Shrink yours down so that they are no bigger than that. Shoud work OK then!

if that still doesnt work, or your pic turns out too small for your liking, try changing the file format to jpeg to make the file size smaller. some photo imaging programs such as photoshop are good for that sort of thing as you can reduce the quality of the mage quite easily.

It says file too large. Please choose smaller image( 50kb). How do I do that?

By the way, all I'm doing is trying to place pictures I have scanned. Nothing as high tech as a digital camera.

Ahh, I see, you're probably using Windows generic viewer to see the images on your computer. What you are going to need is some sort of image software that will allow you to re-size the photo. I'm sure you can find some free ones on the web that coud be downloaded and will do the job quite nicely. Trouble is, I am not that familiar with what's out there and what might be a useable program. I'm using software that I purchased called PhotoElf. It's nowhere as good as PhotoShop, but it also doesn't cost $100 either (it might have been $30 or so).

 I use a free program called irfanview to resize my stuff. You can DL it and give it a tri.
