I live at Appleby and Lakeshore. Ride north of Burlington most of the time. Use the pool at the YMCA. -

Wow, I posted this in November and completely forgot about it :\
Any how, glad to see there are a few other people in the area training
I took a loong winter break and am just getting back to training now. Maybe during the summer some of you would be up for a group ride?
Slimmer, I also train at that same YMCA pool! -

I live in the Hammer, but swim over at Cedar Springs. What level do you train at? Personally I am aiming for a few Sprints this year.

I can generally be found anywhere between Oakville and Hamilton regions depending on the time of year. -

I'm from Hamilton (McMaster student) although moving to Vancouver soon.... I think.
But I train for biking in the Dundas area (up the escarpment, sydenham, snake road) and love the run around the lake (princess point).
I really need to improve my run and am looking for anyone in the area training up to 10km. Currently I can run 5km in about 27 minutes and endurance wise can do 7 km without too much trouble.
Looking to start sprints in June! Subaru and Multisport races.

I just started trail running in Dundas Valley a few weeks ago, typical runs are 7.5km, and it take 45-50mins to complete. -

I live/train in Hamilton. When it's warmer I usually run by the Wentworth Stairs & sometimes Bayfront. Cycling out by Van Wagners is great too.

Hi
I am in Headon forest and just joined this forum
Usually ride North as staying south is very difficult
As another member said up Walkers Line through Milton - lots of rolling hills
I also saw that some riders park at 6th line and Burhamthorpe and ride from that point
Got to start riding hills as Milton and Muskoka are around the corner
Happy riding
Jean

If you want some good hills, come to Hamilton and go up and down the escarpment a few times, if you don't mind the smog and crappy roads.
