Description: The 1.5k swim will start in a “Wave” fashion. Waves are determined based upon the Estimated Finish Time you give when you register. You will swim in a clockwise direction, keeping the buoys to your right. Current will be insignificant, as TVA will release water from the dams at a minimum flow rate.
The bike course is an out-and-back, on rolling rural roads.
The run course takes place on the Aldridge Creek Greenway and is FLAT. When you exit the Transition Area, you will run 1 mile out and 1 mile back along the Tennessee River. After running .5 miles through Ditto landing, you will get back on the Greenway and run out approximately 1.5 miles out and 2.2 miles back to the Finish.
