Description: Super sprint triathlon for all ages. This is your chance to test out a triathlon with shorter distances we can all complete!
The event begins with the swim, a 200 yard pool swim in the Greensboro College Pool. Participants snake their way across the pool, going up one lane and coming back in the next. Lane changes are made at the end of each lane, the advantage here being that participants are only swimming one direction in each lane. This makes passing people very easy. It is still important to submit an accurate 100 yard swim time when registering, this is required for registration.
The 4 Mile bike course will cross through UNCG's campus to Aycock Street connecting to the Lake Daniel Greenway and back.
The 1.5 Mile run course will wind through UNCG's campus, to the Irwin Belk Recreation Track, in Peabody Park, and finish on College Avenue in front of the Elliot University Center. There are 2 total water stops (one at the bike transition and one at the finish).
