Pre-race routine:

Up at 4:20 AM. Ate a banana and bowl of steel cut oats. drank a vitamin water. Left from Nicki's apartment with Kevin Michals in tow. Arrived at Citizens Bank Park in time to hit the portapotty and jump on the broad street line before 6:30.

Hung out for a while, drank some water and ate part of another banana.
Event warmup:

Did a 5 minute warm up jog too early as we thought the race started at 8:00...corraled by 7:45 and didn't start until 8:30.

Comments:

Just a really nice day to run. Overcast and mid-50's. Perfect.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. The only thing that prohibited my time from being better was my training which hasn't been as intense.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around looking for the Back on My Feet tent to meet up with Kevin and Nicki. Ate a bit from my goodie bag. The salt & vinegar chips were delightful.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training. I have been training but the intensity on running hasn't been there really.

Event comments:

Going back next year. Great way to kick off the race season!
