nice swim. only about 5 feet deep. light current. should have pushed it harder though. i lolligagged alot watching other people and stood up to sight the course.

got to talking to a guy on the way back for a mile or 2. noticed my speed had slowed slightly, so we parted ways. turned out, we went to the same elementary school (different years) and his mom was my middle school math teacher. small world!

developed a side stitch early on. couldnt really go too hard because of discomfort. should have sucked it up and pushed harder anyhow.
