My shoe hit the ground and fell off and I had to go back and get it just like in Rochester.

Just run with my damn shoes and take them off when I get to T2!

Well, me and the guy that was pushing me both ran about 2.7 miles instead of 2.5 because they made a last second change to the course and we ran around a corner instead of through the parking lot which added some distance. For the last mile or so we were really cooking. I regret not blowing by the guy I was running with at the end but he pulled me along for 1.5 miles and really didn't think 5 seconds would make a difference and it didn't.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe start my kick right after the turn around since I felt good.

Walked around and tried to cool down quick and then stay warm.

Event comments:

I think this race was limited by bad weather and a bad road but on a nicer day and a newly paved road this could be one of my favorites... a lot of buzz which is nice.

Course: This was the roughest and worst road you could possible imagine but not too difficult all things considered but not fast either. And, my B2 wouldn't go into the top sprocket for about a mile for some reason.
