Woke up around 5, ate a kashi bar and a mini-bagel with pbj, walked down to transition

swim started rough, I had a really hard time sighting, everyone was really spread out wide on the course so it was hard to follow, initially, it felt hard to breath but I couldn't just face down swim much because it was hard to navigate

use goggle-fog stuff, sight better

Course: RUN WAS NOT 3.1 MILES, RUN WAS CLOSER TO 3.5 MILES. This was collaborated by multiple other people. Out and back with a weird loop thing that added the extra distance, I think that part was messed up.
