had my blender drink, wnt up early to get set up. 3 cups of coffee
Event warmup:

ran a hil 4 times at a good clip. Leg swings, stretches, etc.

Don't know if I would have worked as hard without the guy I was flip flopping with for 3rd position.

Ride more leading up to the race. I posted a great time but still think I could have done better.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of natural ability and history of athletics

Event comments:

moving from 45th last year to 3 this feels really good. Cut my time from 39 to 35 minutes despite it going from a swim to a run at the beginning. If it had been a swim, I would have been even faster.
