Swim
Comments: Got caught up a few times when changing lanes. Felt good through 200 yards, but was ready for it to end. Watch said 5:25 out the door so, probably around 5:15 to the ladder. Transition 1
Comments: Bad. Long run to bike and it was starting to rain. Put on long sleeve shirt, gloves, beanie, and socks + shoes. Got the sunglasses stuck on the beanie, and with the new race helmet, was VERY SLOW !!! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Just too slow on a miserable day. Probably cost me a top 3 finish. Bike
Comments: Wet with some hills. Twisty turns at the end. Slowed all the way down at street corners, and felt like I would spill a few times on the wet streets. All excuses I know, just did not want to put the bike down doing 25MPH. Transition 2
Comments: 100 yards from bike exit to rack. Left the shoes on, didn't want to get the socks wet. Could not get the dang helmet off. Need to practice on this new helmet. What would you do differently?: Practice the dismount and get the dang helmet off. Run
Comments: Seriously. #124 on the run?? Got to get the run off the bike fixed. I have to start wearing a watch to see my pace, I could have pushed a LOT harder. What would you do differently?: Get some run miles in. Got lots of time for this. I am FASTER on short workouts, now need to translate. Post race
Warm down: Stood around. I felt good, but it was a little cold. What limited your ability to perform faster: Wet roads. Essentially, transition cost me a top 3. This will get fixed. Event comments: Run was way short as MTSU altered the course at the last minute. No mile markers. Did not like standing in the cold outside before the swim, no real reason after we lined up. People in and out of transition was not optimal, but didn't bother me much. Last updated: 2012-12-18 12:00 AM

It was cold and rainy. Ate a small piece of toast with nutella and pb and some coffee. Got to race early and setup with the group.
Ran 400-500 meters. Have not tested the wheel cover, so wondering about that.
