Pre-race routine:

Pretty relaxed morining. Got up and had breakfast then D and I got our stuff together and headed down there at a few minutes before 8.
Event warmup:

Got to the site and parked then changed in to our bike stuff and rode about 3 miles to warm up, then got in line.

Comments:

Another fun race. Got passed plenty. This time I started in front of DS2. He wasn't too far behind me at the turnaround so I thought he'd pass me on the way back but he didn't. I finished in time to get a quick picture of him as he finished. The wind was brutal on the way back. I was pedaling hard to do 18 on a pretty good downhill! Always a fun, low key race though. One more to go.
What would you do differently?:

Warm down:

Rode a bit and spun out the legs then went to check our times. Got back to the car and headed to SBux.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

training, genetics, WIND

Event comments:

As I said before, this is a low key race. They have a cooler and some snacks but it's pretty small, BYON and ride the course.
