Should hae practiced turing under ropes. Also, calm down!

Good ride. Finished 3rd overall in ride, so I cannot complain too much.
What would you do differently?:

Drank too much, or at least wrong kind. Had gatorade in the bottle, should stick with the vitamin water I had been using. Gatorade felt heavy.

Goofed around a bit much in T2. Had shoes on wrong side of bike, so I had to run around rack. Still put number belt on 1st, should do while running.
What would you do differently?:

Pay more attentioin to transition in/out to properly place equipment. Put number belt on while running.

Had more in me, could have pushed harder. Did not have confidence I could run sub 7:30's. Ran faster each mile with 3rd at 7:13.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

confidence. Overall I did well, a few mental mistakes probably cost me 30 - 45 seconds. Not normally a big deal, but I lost my age group by 4 seconds. Any one of the mental errors corrected and I would have won.
