Comments:

Went out way too fast. Hit the 1st mile at about 6:45 and with that 1st mile being a little uphill, I knew I was going to suffer for it. 2nd mile tried to focus on striding out and recover from the fast start with the final mile just pushing to hang on. Last half mile, was fighting the urge to become "that guy" and had to back off.
What would you do differently?:

Obviously go out a bit slower but it was a good run, bettering my last years time by 3:34.

Race went off on time and once again was smoothly run. Will look forward to doing this race again next year and hopefully bettering my time again.
