Pre-race routine:

Baby woke us up at 6:00 and went back to sleep until 6:30. Got up and played with him for a while. Drove down to the start. Had a clif bar and some infinit before we left.

Did about a mile warm-up and felt ready to go.

Comments:

Didn't drink enough and the wind was brutal, which made negative splits a bit tough. In fact my splits went in the opposite direction.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more, maybe eat less cheese the day/night before. Think that bothered my stomach during the run. One reason why I didn't take the gel.

Put on some warm clothes and tried to warm up.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor nutrition day before and pre-run. Wind.

Course: Point to point from Cape May to N. Wildwood. Flat with two bridges. The wind is the determining factor. I found it tough today.
