Got there earlier than usual, forgot to bring a GU pack so I ate a granola bar, bad idea (more later)

Need practice on this transition, could think straight because of the distance between pool and transition area. Did have a real plan going in, I was a soup sandwich

worst run to date. Granola bar came back to bite me, got a cramp half-way into the run. First time I've ever had to stop during a run.
What would you do differently?:

Do not eat a granola bar before the RACE! need a GU pack or nothing!

Lack of sleep because of flight problems the day before and bad nutrition day of.

Event comments:

Great race had a blast, wish I could have done better on the run and in my transitions.
