First competitive swim ever. Felt comfortable. Breast Stroke almost the entire way - strong but slow.
What would you do differently?:

Train - only did one swim before this race. Need to learn the crawl.

Felt great getting on the bike even with a slow transition. Got a flat at the top of a long hill and had to ride the front tire for about 5 minutes. Ended up getting a spare from a spectator and got some help from the support car. Lost at least 5 minutes during the change - not including lost momentum.
What would you do differently?:

Bring a spare tube and a nitrogen kit. Also - check the tires before leaving. Also would try harder gears - My cadence was a bit high.

Yuck...need to work on the run. Got passed by a lot of people.
What would you do differently?:

Need to wear differnt clothing - too hot in a bike jersey. Need to train more.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough training. Signed up spur of the moment about 3 weeks before the race. Did only one swim and two training runs. Considering the level of training I did - I am happy with the results.

Event comments:

Great race - especially for first timers. Would be nice if they could include the transition times. Fun people and well organized.
