Pre-race routine:

woke up early, but not early enough...i thought the race started at 7:30 am, it started at 7:00, so it was crunch time! when i arrived the transition setup was full so me and a couple of other guys just leaned our bikes on the outside rails.
Event warmup:

luckily for me one of the bouys unanchored and it took some time to rechieve it, so i used this time to swim and run a bit

like i said eraly in the post i had no time for setup. my gatorade sport bottle still had the protective cover on the cap, which i didn't realize until i wanted to drink...no fluids on the bike...

Warm down:

not much, just walked around. i was on a family vacation (the reason i was in destin) so i had a lot of support, they were all excited!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

poor planning

fun race, very excited about swimming in the gulf!
