Swim
Comments: A good swim, good sighting, almost no drafting but there wasn't too many folks around me. What would you do differently?: Push the pace more towards the end, I had strengths left in me. Transition 1
Comments: I chose to put the shoes on the bike and put them on while riding, I waited too long and I was already going too fast, swerving all over and being a danger to all my fellow triathletes. What would you do differently?: Put the shoes on as soon as I get on the bike. Bike
Comments: Didn't really enjoy the ride that much nor the course, I guess the conditions distorted my perception as well. What would you do differently?: Come back on a sunny day? hehe. Transition 2
Comments: One of my shoes blew off the bike when I stepped off, got it and kept going. The rest of the transition was smooth and very fast. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: A pitiful run, about six and a half minutes slower than my best 10k time. By looking at the splits I can tell that fatigue whooped me badly as the race progressed. What would you do differently?: Pace the bike better, and admit that it was going to be a bad day for cycling. Post race
Warm down: Nothing in particular, ate a couple of oranges and drank a lot of water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Bad weather. Event comments: Kind of a bittersweet taste in my mouth, because I was shooting for a 2:30'00" race and I really put everything out to do it. Even though I PR'd, I didn't feel the "great race" feeling that I enjoy so much. Last updated: 2009-02-18 12:00 AM

Woke up because my baby woke me up! One hour before the planned time. I had toasts and some "mate".
Just walked around lazy with my wife, my son and my baby daughter.
