What would you do differently?:

Give a more accurate swim time during registration so I can swim with people more my speed.

Buy a tri top and go sockless in my road shoes.

Course had a lot of turnarounds. That and the wind coming off the lake made for a tough go at times.
What would you do differently?:

Need to spend more time training on the running and doing more bricks.

Warm down:

Went and talked to the best cheering section in the world, my wife and two boys. Drank water and ate a slice a cool pizza.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Gear and training, both that can be improved with time.

Event comments:

Overall a great race for my first time. I learned a lot about the sport and myself and talked to some nice people. I’m officially hooked so its time to go bike shopping.
