  • Comments: Will not do this race again- the finish line and the cattle like herding of people into Columbus Commons was a joke. Too many people in a too small of space. The band was too loud so no one could hear cel phones or what anyone was saying. For your money the Flying Pig is a better race, even with that huge hill :) I'm in for the 10K next year!

  • Comments: Great race, great volunteers, great post-race (Although I had to leave early), and great course to give you a decent sample of Columbus with good crowd support. I highly recommend it.

  • Comments: Really nice race - course was nice, well-organized, plenty of water and aid stations. I was surprised at the quickness of the start - at Columbus, I waited 20 minutes just to get to the start line, but I think this one was 3-5 minutes. Less people, though :) The end was a bit messy - I had to dead stop after crossing the finish line, which isn't ideal. There was a backlog of people looking to get pictures and pick up their medals (understandable, as you couldn't go back in later). The volunteers tried to get people moving, but I think it was a space/setup issue. After party was nice - loved the Snowville chocolate milk, please keep that! And the champagne is nice too. Wasn't a big fan of the cover band, but that could be personal preference. Nice race - I will do it again!

  • Comments: The corral was terrible and hard to get out of this year. I also felt like the water stations were poorly spaced. They were not consistently spaced so it was hard to time when they would appear.

  • Comments: Last year I hit the wall hard at this very race, so this was more about hitting back. I PR'd by 2min despite pacing my friend through 6 before working down to race pace. Hopefully this sets up a nice season to come.
