• Description: The fall weekend of October 23-24 in this college town of 60,000 will showcase the brilliant fall colors and cool, crisp temperatures that will offer ideal running conditions for what will be one of the most scenic Half Marathon courses in the country. Starting and finishing in downtown Lafayette near the historic County Courthouse, runners and walkers will run through picturesque Lafayette hitting a variety of lankmarks along the way. After a loop through Lafayette, runners will cross the Harrison Bridge into West Lafayette and the campus of Purdue University and its many landmarks including Mackey Basketball Arena and legendary Ross-Ade Stadium. After traversing the scenic Campus sites, the course will run through West Lafayette and then crossing the river back into downtown Lafayette and a finish back at Riehle Plaza.
