• Description: The 10K race and 5K fun run/walk race courses are point-to-point, starting in downtown Houston at the corners of Texas Avenue and Smith Street, and finishing at Minute Maid Park. To ensure everyone’s safety, the 2012 event will kick off with the start of the 10K race followed minutes later by the 5K fun run/walk. Expect plenty of hoopla and large crowds of cheering spectators as participants lead the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo parade.
