• Description: The race is held on the island of Sado in Niigata prefecture. 2012 marks the 24th running of the event. The short course is composed of a 2km swim, 105 km bike and 20 km run. The long course event is composed of a 3.8 km swim, 190 km bike and full marathon run. The bike course is gorgeous as it runs along the coast of the island.
