• Description: The Destination Marathon! Run on a fast course, starting and finishing at Chester Racecourse, taking in the historic City of Chester and the stunning Cheshire and North Wales villages and countryside. This is the UK's only international marathon.
  
  The fast and largely flat route is on closed roads covering 19 miles in England and 7 miles in Wales. You will run past all Chester's iconic landmarks before heading out to the stunning Cheshire and North Wales countryside and villages; returning along the banks of the River Dee for a unforgettable finish at the Racecourse. The support in the villages and communities along the course is one of the many highlights of the race.
