• Description: The Mountain Man Triathlon is a great early season sprint triathlon that is becoming a favorite in the region. Now in it's third year, the MMT is held every June in conjunction with the Town of Alpine Mountain Days. The scenery is beautiful, the course challenging enough for intermediate levels, but easy enough to cut your triathlon teeth on.
  
  The course begins at the East Alpine Boat Ramp with a 600 meter swim with the current of the mighty Snake River, then 15K gravel/road bike ride through east foothills of Alpine, and finish with a 6K trail/road run along Greys River and ending at the Civic Center in beautiful downtown Alpine.
