Small swim warm-up. Nothing else due to the wait time for the Half-Iron and Olympic races to get going.

Swim felt good. I could not find anyone going my pace to draft on. Swim starts I always seem to get behind a few people that bunch up and take a little bit to get going.
What would you do differently?:

Start in the front on the line so I don't have to go around anyone. Try to increase my stroke speed.

Felt good on the bike. Need to work on keeping my cadence up on the uphills. Focused on big deep breaths at the end of the bike. This helped eliminate the side stitch I had last race.
What would you do differently?:

Dilute the Gatorade in my bike bottle. It was a bit strong and caused my stomach a little grief.

Work on a bit more tangent running. Increase cadence more on the downhills.

My bike fitness. Need to improve the speed I can ride without killing the run.

Event comments:

It took forever for them to start the awards for the Sprint and Olympic distances. Other than that is was well done.
