Run
Comments: Started with 3:50 pace group but picked it up a little bit. Felt great through about mile 21 then left hamstring was very tight. I was about 8 minutes ahead of pace at mile 21. Gave back 4 minutes in last 5 miles. Walked at a couple of aid stations and stretched a couple of times in the last miles. What a beautiful day for a marathon. Perfect conditions for me. This race wasn't planned as a PR, but as a last race of season after IM Lousiville. Took it easy and had a great day !!! Post race
Warm down: Took advantage of the massage then walked around a little to see anyone I knew. Watched some finishers and ate a little post race food What limited your ability to perform faster: Last 5 miles were tough. If I could have stayed on pace I would have come in around 3:40 Event comments: A little short on the post race food. Not too impressed there, but liked the bands and the massage.
