Race Reports for Battle of Waterloo

Comments: I wanted to put this out on the interwebs because there were not many race reports I had to draw from when deciding whether or not to sign up for this race. It took me several years to muster up the courage to sign up for it and I am so glad I did! It was truly the most fun race I have ever done. There were a few people there who were in it to win it, but mostly it was a supportive crowd that was just out having fun. Lots of cameraderie when we caught up to each other at the start and finish of the swims, etc. The race was very well run, well organized, lots of aid stations with fuel and other support (bug spray, sunscreen, etc.) It felt very much like an adventure race and it was fun switching back and forth between S/B/R so many times. I especially appreciated that the longest run was only 4 miles and that the lakes were there to provide some refreshment had it been a stinking hot day.
