  • Comments: This race was an out and back course on the Trinity River trail. I don't recall if the course was certified, and the mile markers did not come close to agreeing with my Garmin. My Garmin had the race at just over six miles. The 10k and 5k races overlapped over the last 1.2 miles. This was my biggest complaint, as I had to constantly weave through the slower 5k runners and the walkers. The 5k should have started first or been a different course. The race management company had several difficulties with the results, and the awards took forever. Food and drink at post-race was good, location was very family friendly. The course overlap is enough to deter me from doing this race again, but I did really enjoy everything election about it.
