  • Comments: Great small HARD trail race. Very low key, low frills, but this was apparent from the website. Tonos of rocks and roots, all covered with leaves to add to the difficulty. Up and down through the gorge 2 times on the half, along with a good bit of scrambling over boulders. It's billed to be a slow hard course, adn it certainly is that. A lot of fun, though, and 1 I will look at doing again next year.

  • Comments: Low key, lo support race, but this is well documented on the website. Beautiful trail. HARD trail. Great Thanksgiving weekend run, though. John and Hardwin team always put on good but difficult events. They have all of the necessities, but not many “extras.” Again, this is told to you beforehand, though, so it shuodlnt’ be any surprises. They put on good trail races for experienced trail runners.
