Subject: big guy trying not to be so much of a big guy

I have played football all my life (pee wee, high school, and college) and even some professional football (semi-pro, arena) and need some new motivation. I am very athletic for my size and just signed up for my first 5K in February. It's my overall goal to drop enough weight that I can do the Myway or the Triway in late July. I really like this site and hopefully I will meet some amazing people. Thanks. Tongue out

There is no better site (especially when starting out). There's lots to read but don't be afraid to answer questions. You may want to think about joining one of the mentor groups at the top of the "forums" page. Best of luck from someone else trying not to be so much of a big guy!Laughing
