Well this weekend I did something most 85 lbs over weight people never dream they could ever do. I did it twice. I did my first double marathon. It took me a long time (mostly also because I had the time). As long as you keep your heart rate down and do a race you get plenty of time to complete you can do it.

I had a person in the race who thought I was crazy for doing the race and should not be out there. Once he saw me going and just putting in the miles he really turned around because he was so shocked a guy of my size could even do 16 miles and at 16 miles I was going strong. I was slow and I ran my pace. I was still near the bottom of the pack but I still came in 42 out of 54 people.

Way to go! Glad to see you had a great time. It's amazing when you can show people what you're made of and really make them stand with mouth agape!

Chi, you did something most skinny people would never dream they could do...and they'd probably be right! Awesome job!

Some people can't handle being BOP; you are at peace with it and celebrate your participation and accomplishment as you well should. I'm sure your post is inspiring to others.

Wow! That's incredible.  Such and inspiration.  I had someone tell me a few months ago that I should run because I'm overweight and it would hurt my knees.  I have less knee pain running than I do skiing (and this person is a big skier and would never tell me not to ski) and I refuse to stop doing either!  You've reminded me why!
