Still waiting, but I know it's in UPS's hands. I'm working up forgiveness for Bobbi...it's a karmic thing and a request of ellasdad....working on it is the operative word of that sentence.

Edde's a great guy and I'm sure he didn't keep it.

He did me a huge favor helping me with a bike. When I asked him on Saturday, he said he had taken care of it.

Hmmm... I wonder where the bike came from that I took home that day.

I have the bike! It was packed perfectly and expertly by Edde and is in pristine condition. I am glad it is over! Thanks for all your support and especially to ellasdad for having such a good heart and coming through in a pinch. I really don't think we'd have ever gotten the bike if he hadn't have offered to ship it!

That's pretty stand-up, bschro01. It took a little bit, but 1) I sincerely hope your personal situation gets to the point that it's not that overbearing, and 2) major props for standing up, recognizing the wrong, and (with prodding) working to correct it.

That's what BT is all about, after all. Helping people. I hope you'll reach out when you need help, and I know that Colomingle did. After a buncha drama, seems like everyone's somewhat at peace.  Not that it always was, but good stuff.

I'm also very glad this whole thing is over.

And I think it does, ever so little, make it better that you, bschro01, have chosen to face the community, and admit what you have done

...but dare I say what I think?  Eburg, I agree.

This was not just a little white lie!  It was 1000's of dollars...and it was weeks of angst. 

Morals should never waiver, for any reason, as the second you let one slip, you are betraying yourself.

How do we know, bschro01, what you are saying is true, after all that has happened?  How am I supposed to accept something you are writing, after what you did?  I am not without compassion, but I am hard pressed to acknowledge what you have said with  any empathy.

We do indeed make mistakes, and I have personally made many, and I am not saying that I (or anyone) is a better person than you.  I simply think it's important for you to really look inside yourself and see whether what you did was wrong becuase we in this BT'er society dictated to you that it was so, or if you ethically, genuinely, think it was wrong.

You betrayed yourself as much as you betrayed anyone else.  When anyone lies, when anyone performs an immoral act, they are not simply hurting those around them, they are eroding themselves as a human being.

Please consider this, bschro01.  And know your sincerity and regret matter little to anyone but yourself.  Prove yourself as a moral person, as a compassionate person, and you will not have say anything at all.

There's a silly little saying that speaks to this, it goes something like this:

"Actions speak louder than words"

Forgive me if I am carrying on when it seems this is at rest, but I have pretty much held my tongue during the whole thing, and this is a public forum...and I hold it any more.
