I am sitting with a big mug of soup thawing out from my run this morning.  The wind really froze my azz today.  But the good news is I am at 100% for my run goal!!!

Thanks for being a great team and strong work everyone.  We are in great shape at the end of this month's challenge.

Hey peeps,

Just coming in from my bike/run brick and I am officially done with my January challenge goal. This was a great month and a great team! It's always soooo hard when the month is up and the teams split, but I am sure, that we will meet again soon!

While biking, I made up my mind, that I will take a break from challenges in February...

Great job Kathrin. Hope we can be teammates again in the future. I am only doing the peach challenge next month so it's a break for me as well.

Okay team, so I can't count. Turned out I only needed 3 more mile yesterday, not 4. So I got 3.5 in. 100% on all goals.

Congratulations to all who met their goal this month. Great job!

It was a lot more exciting than I anticipated at half time! Wow, burned a lot of calories bouncing around the last 5 or 6 minutes!

Nice job with your race yesterday!

My wife and I  were  on the edge of our seats .

The Surf City race was very humbling ,  marathons are tough , and trying to run one as fast as you can is tougher still .   Geeze i cant imagine  the will power it takes to  run  26.2  miles  after a day of swimming and riding a century .

I'm sure the perspective of running a marathon is differant for the front runners, but as a MOP IM finisher, I found it easier than a stand alone marathon.  I think it is mentally due to it being the final stage of the race and at least in my case, the expectations were fairly low.  At least compared to my expectations of the stand alone marathon.  I usually describe my IM marathon as a 26 mile buffet!
