Now that I'm BT challenge addicted, I hope to have some of you on my team next month.

Let's cross our fingers and hope that the Fall-Dippides can pull off four straight victories!

O.K., this is where I hang my head in shame and apologize profusely.

Sorry team.   November training = FAIL!

67% of my swim goal, 81% of bike and 68% run.  Sorry to let the team down.  Incredible amount of work deadlines and family/church commitments.

I shouldn't have been so optimistic on my goals.  This is the first time in several months where I did not make my Challenge goals.  I think my mind had already shifted to off-season mode.

Thanks to all for the great inspiration to get SOME training in this month.  This was a dedicated team.  Sorry to lower the average.

 

No worries Sal  ,  in a way you met your stated goal of maintaining fitness during your  off season .    Best Of Luck!

NOVEMBER CHALLENGE FINAL RESULTS!

Here are the FINAL TEAM STANDINGS for the November Challenge


1st place - COLD TURKEYS - 97.9%
2nd place - Gabbing Gobblers - 96.5%
3rd place - Fall-Dippides - 94.9%
4th place - Stuffed Turkeys - 85.9%


Per the initial sign-up information:

The winning team, COLD TURKEYS, will display a signature line: "My team won the November You-Pick-It Challenge!"

All other (losing) teams will display a signature line: "Whoops. We didn't win the November You-Pick-It Challenge."

Signature lines will be displayed for the month of December. After that, it's your choice whether to leave it, or remove it.


Great job everyone! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and achieved your goals this month.

See you in the next challenge!

Note: There was one person on the Fall-Dippides team who had a really low percentage. I don't know if she continued to participate in the challenge or if she dropped out. (Team Captains - this is one of the things you should track! If someone disappears, let me know!)

If I remove that one person from team Fall-Dippides's spreadsheet -- they are over 100%! So I'm going to declare TWO winners for the November Challenge:
1st place - COLD TURKEYS - 97.9%
And a TIE for 1st place - TEAM FALL-DIPPIDES!

Therefore, these two teams may display the "winning" signature line.

Gabbing Gobblers and Stuffed Turkeys will display the "losing" signature line. (And yes, I've added it to my sig lines already.)

I agree  , the other teams  did a lot to catch up .  And well done to everyone.

I Just felt like :  How could we loose this  when (almost) everyone on our team was at/over  100% and we had such a huge margin ? 

Best way for me  to express that disappointment was like when you get a flat tire on the bike legof a triathlon .  Bummer !    Hence the picture .

No problem, Jen! If I'd known about your MIA teammate, I would have dropped her from the spreadsheet sooner. I'll let you borrow a Taser for the next challenge. That ought to help people who need "reminding" to work out. LOL

Good luck to everyone in the Du-December Challenge! (Someone on another team said he wants a rematch. I welcomed him to the Challenge Forum - where we off rematchs every month! LOL)
