What are you afraid of?  Missing the people I grew up with for the past 13 years when they go off to university and I stay back for a year in high-school.

Do you cook? What is your favorite to make? Yes. I cook all kinds of stuff. The most rewarding is hearing the praise for "Daddy's Waffles!" or "Daddy's Pancakes!"

If you could change one thing about your home, what would it be? the neighborhood it's in. I would love to live in the country

Best thing that ever happened to you: --I grew up from about age 26-28. Quit smoking, cut way down on drinking, started exercising, got engaged, improved my diet, learned to cook, examined my finances, went back to school. Wow. I did a lot.

Last embarrassing thing that happened to you: not much embarasses me.

What are you listening to right now? It's weird. I'm making a CD for my mother-in-law. It starts with Mary Chapin Carpenter and ends with Tom Waits

What was the last thing that you ate? Birthday cake and ice cream for my just now 2-year-old

hat is your favorite sport to watch? I don't watch sports on tv. Bores the crap out of me. I enjoy watching my kids' sports -- soccer, T-ball, gymnastics, etc.

Have you ever dyed your hair? Oh yeah. I used to be a pseudo-punk rocker. I used Jolene mustache bleach on my whole head. Also black. Dark black.

Favorite food? I love all kinds of food. Pizza, really good Italian, Mexican, etc.

What was the last movie you watched? I don't want to admit that it was King Kong, but it was. Before that it was Babel.

Favorite day of the year? any of my kids' or my wife's birthday.

What do you do to vent anger? Run like hell. Plus the Ramones.

What was your favorite toy as a child? I did like toys, but none stand out as being a favorite. I really liked playing outside
