Subject: RE: What Sport Would You Train 4x Per WeekTraining your weakness is a good thing but I have read comments, studies, coaches etc say that the bike portion of the Triathlon defines a lot of the overall performance of a race. You are on the bike the longest... most of the races anyway. If you are strong off the bike, your run will go a lot better etc. I would train the ride before I jumped my run training up significantly more (and trust me my run is where it is needed ). But now that I have a decent swim and a strong bike I can focus on the run. |
