My father had a stroke last night (Page 4)

Sorry to hear about your father.  I just wanted to let you now from my point of view as a healthcare professional.  The last thing any of us ever want to do is use restraints or any of that mess.  Just realize that his actions tight now are being caused by a medical condition and this can be very frustrating.  We all now that this is not how this person would act minus the affects of a medical condition.
Now my piont of view as the child of a parent that had this happen to them.  It sucks.  My mother had a heart attack, then a stroke, and was in the hospital for almost 100 days.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Scott, So sorry to hear about your dad. He sounds like a pretty tough character. I'll be wishing for a full recovery. Hang in there!
