Subject: RE: What were you doing a year ago today? One year ago I was mostly sitting around, watching movies and doing the odd "run" at lunchtime at work every couple of weeks or so (3 miles in about 40ish mins) and riding my bike to work about once or twice a month. I was also about 40lbs heavier. Since then.....lost about 40lbs, finished a 5k race, completed my first sprint tri, completed my first 10k(in <1hr) and training for an Oly with 2 more sprint tris and 3 more 10k's before that planned. I have also remembered how much I like being outside. Feel like a kid again. Now I hate being cooped up at home. I also realized that there are a lot people up and about at 05:00am.....which I had no idea of last year....LOL |
