Full bike course - as in doing the full 112, or starting at the Terrace, ride out and do the loop once, then come back (approx. 80 or so miles)?

Knowing Little League baseball, I would have a game going on at that time, BUT, I'm thinking that I could come up with an excuse and get out of it and do one major training weekend prior to SOR at the end of July.

I'm thinking that I could take my one blue van, load up everyone's "Special Needs", have someone follow me and drive to Mount Horeb (or a different stop?) and drop off the van, then someone takes me back and we ride!  Thoughts?

Sounds cool! I too may have LL baseball conflicts, but don't know yet. If you are trying for a count to gauge interest, put my name in the "yes" column.

Was thinking maybe park vehicles at Fireman's Park near the special needs pickup area. Then, do the stick INTO town and then back to Firemans Park.  Then people could have the option of doing the loop once or twice after that.  I know that isn't doing the course in the same order as the race, but parking at Fireman's is so convenient and you don't have to deal with parking in Madison.

mndiver (Bryan) pointed out to me that the Liberty HIM (Minnesota) is June 14.  I had it penciled in as June 7 because the last time I looked on their website they didn't have 2008 info, so I went with the date closest to the 2007 race date.  Liberty is a "must do" race for me since it will be my only HIM for the season prior to IM WI. 

Sooooo...I will have to change my Madison weekend to June 6-8.  How do those dates sound?  I can't do it the weekend of June 21 (racing Bjorklund half marathon), or June 28 (I may be a pacer in the Western States 100 that weekend).  July is totally out for me. I'd rather not do it in August due to crappy water quality conditions on Lake Monona during that time.  Thoughts?

Looking at my schedule to maybe make it up there.  Anybody have an extra 56 bike?  road or tri, I'm not picky.  It would save me having to bring it up.

I've got a 58 Trek 2300 road bike with clip-ons, Speedplays, and seat post rotated for tri. Used it in my first IM WI. Only thing is, I'm gonna use the wheels off of it to put on my Felt DA that weekend - sorry, the 808s are staying in the case    If you can find spare wheels (9 spd) you're welcome to use it.  I'm 4 hours from Madison...maybe someone in town can help?
