When will it warm up in Indiana?

It has not been too bad so far this year, so this week is not too hard to take.

I ran last night, but it was still warm enough for shorts. This weekend, not so much.

I use aquaphor on my face, but I have found that straight vaseline seems to work better for me. Aquaphor just seems to absorb too much (which is should do, it is a lotion). I can still feel the vaseline on my face after a hour or running in nasty stuff.

I ran 12 last night, I wore long johns. It was windy as hell!!

Ran 13 this morning and my hands are still frozen.  I think it was 8 degress when I started with a windchill below 0.  Hope to thaw out soon! --Jim

It's getting worse, isn't it?

Getting pummelled with snow in South Bend yesterday/today.  So, I'm being restricted to TM runs and trainer rides lately.

Not used to Indiana weather??? Well, consistently nice warm weather doesn't really get here until June. We've had snow fluries in May before!!!

I actually grew up in Michigan. I don't know what I'm complaining about.

True, but we also get 60* in Nov, Dec or March from time to time. Lot of give and take I say. But these single digits get old.

It's supposed to be 35 on Sunday, that's great for January! Time for a long run!

X2! Planning on a 12 or so mile run!!

X3, but for me its 10 miles tomorrow morning.  But at least it will be in the 20's.

WTH???  Between 5:00 and 8:00 it is supposed to drop to like 6 degrees!  And be sub zero over night!

These are the days I hate the most, 47 in January and I won't get a chance to get out. We're expected more snow this weekend too! So I have 'Chariots of Fire' on an old VHS tape to watch during my long run (on the treadmill) this weekend.

It's cold here but m friends talked me into going ice fishing in Canada nest week.  I'll come home thinking this is balmy.

I got a 6mi run in last night.  10deg F with sub-zero windchill.  I actually felt fine once my face got good and numb.

I ran 12 yesterday and felt no problem. I thought it was going to be terrible. My wife said I must have been freezing but I felt fine. I don't generally have a problem RUNNING in the cold. It's all the other stuff (walking, waiting, driving, talking, living in general).

I would really like it to warm up so I can ride my bike outside. My little toes cannot take riding in the cold and I have great boot covers, etc.
