What limited your ability to perform faster:

Ran the first mile with a friend from another department.

Event comments:

This is a small run hosted by the Lockheed Martin Fitness Center. It takes place onsite at Lockheed in Marietta. There were more racers than I expected but it was a good time. More of a social, family run than an actual competition. Fresh, HOT Cider was available (GOOD too).
This race was FUN, I wasn't concerned with my time. Will run again.

Performance:
Course: This was a good course. Had some good hills and a good, flat finish. Started out flat and quickly ran down onto a fitness trail through the woods. Once exiting the trail, the remainder of the race was through a couple of parking lots around the plant.
