Lavaman Triathlon

Howzit,

I was at Waikoloa this weekend and ran around the grounds. I hit sand, coral, lava, concrete, steps, hills all different kinds of stuff. The coral and sand section appears to be the end of the race for lavaman. If you are doing the race be prepared for that last section. Sure it is harder than some other running but you will get through it and it doesn't last forever. Watch your ankles and just keep moving. Don't let that last section catch you off guard.
