Subject: WTB: Campagnolo Bar End Shifters, Brake Levers

Hey guys,

Trying to build out a new aero bar set for a friend (he has one of the Javelin Parmas, but is looking to swap out with a new Vision set), and looking to see if anyone has lightly used Campy 10-speed (any quality) bar end shifters and brake levers for sale.

He's relatively new to the sport, so price is still a primary concern, as he isn't as brain washed as I am, so justifying new Record pieces isn't in the cards

I don't even know what price to offer, but if you have something that you can consider parting with, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Thanks!

-Ben

Don't have what you're looking for, but I believe Campy only makes bar-ends in Record.  That said, on a budget you can get Shimano and use them in friction mode.  And I think you can use pretty much any brake lever.

'Used' Record works as well.

I have heard that SRAM components mesh up fairly well with Campagnolo setups. I am not really familiar yet with how Shimano and Campagnolo work together (if at all).

Basically trying to keep costs as low as feasible while still getting a quality piece.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I will look into it.

There is a set of Record bar end shifters on ebay, currently at $50.

Hop on 'em.

Those look to have a crack in them, though that may not be a problem.

Anyone with more technical knowledge than I able to ascertain if that would be too much of an issue? The price is definitely right.
